Вставка для чугунной кулачковой муфты является вспомогательным компонентом и предназначена для надежного соединения кулачковых полумуфт между собой.
Муфты предназначены для работы с достаточно большими нагрузками. Они передают крутящий момент через эластичный звездообразную вставку, находящуюся под давлением, которая поглощает удары и крутильные вибрации. Этот элемент маслостойкий, химически устойчивый, термостойкий и электропроводящий. Эластичные элементы доступны в разных цветах в зависимости от их твердости.
Кулачковые муфты часто применяются для передачи мощности:
электродвигателей, компрессоров и центробежных насосов, в вентиляционных и аспирационных установках, в смесителях или мешалках для жидкостей
ленточных и цепных конвейерах (при неравномерной нагрузке), в промежуточных валах и станках
в оборудовании в пищевой отрасли, в прачечных, в полиграфическом и другом оборудовании
